Hi Jessie----SOOOOO glad I found your blog!!! I have been wanting to talk with you about Calginetti's. I have been buying them from Carlino's for many years....and sending them to my husband's siblings. Bruno told me today, that you are the baker of the Calginetti's. GREAT JOB!!! Their Nanna used to make them at the holiday time...and they LOVE them!!!! I tried making them...BUT...they didn't turn out like yours!!!! My recipe came from an Abruzzi cookbook...no luck!!! We think yours are the best!! Do you think after the holiday rush...we can chat about them? I would love to meet you! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!! BTW---I, too, thought they were eeewww when I first had them...now I LOVE them!!!
