I recently read an article about how hard it can be for winter birds to get food and especially fresh water. The article urged the reader to put out food for birds. The article also said to put out fresh water, everyday. Though the water will most likely freeze almost everyday, it is still important to offer fresh water everyday for our struggling neighborhood birdies. Also it is important to clean the water container everyday to prevent bacteria from spreading.
Today we set out some mixed seeds and nuts for the neighborhood birdies!
